This residential development in India’s National Capital Region faced disruptions in municipal water supply and high cost of purchasing water from private sources. Nexus Ecosystems Team was engaged to design, implement and operate a sewage recycling system with capacity of 500 m3/day.
Our system utilizes a highly effective biological treatment process together with Ultra Filtration membranes for post-treatment. The project led to reuse of recycled water on site for toilet flushing and landscaping. It resulted in a payback period of less than 2 years through cost savings from the purchase of fresh water from private vendors.
STUDIES OF HOUSEHOLD WATER USAGE IN SINGAPORE

Nexus Ecosystems Team was engaged by PUB, Singapore’s National Water Agency to conduct 4 studies of water usage patterns in Singapore households between 2016 to 2025. For each study, we administered surveys and measured water usage in all water points across 400 sampled households. The results enabled PUB to assess the effectiveness of its water conservation programme and devise further measures to advance its goal of reducing per capita domestic water usage.

In the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, there was a need to isolate infected persons in dedicated facilities. The thorough treatment and disinfection of sewage from such facilities is critical to prevent the spread of the virus.
In one such instance, we installed 3 modular sewage treatment systems with a total capacity of 820 m3/day for a community isolation facility. We mobilised our team and supply chain to design, supply and install the systems within a short span of just 6 weeks. The system utilizes a High-Efficiency Membrane Bioreactor technology which produced high quality treated water for protection of watercourses and resulted in cost savings from sewage disposal.
